I’m a born and raised Newporter of 48 years.

My previous professional background is in education with the Newport School Department, in investment financing with Fidelity Investments, and in hospitality through my work in sales and marketing with local hotels and customer service with local restaurants.

My current profession is with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center as a Contracting Officer and Negotiator, a Federal Women’s Program Committee member, Continuous Process Improvement facilitator, and National Association of Government Employees Labor Negotiator and Union Steward.

My municipal government experience is on the Charter Review Commission and Tree and Open Space Commission.

My educational background is a Masters in Business Administration and Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
